Although our pharmacy is new to the Baton Rouge area, the guys who created it are not and have had the pleasure of calling this city home at one time or another.
HealthLOGIC is More than Just a Pharmacy
The concept for HealthLOGIC Pharmacy was created by a group of individuals who were in the industry for years and wanted to offer more to patients – more services, more options, more support and more solutions. The pharmacy doors were open for business in early 2017 and since then we have been dedicated to supporting our patients and physician customers. Our goal is to provide the best possible pharmacy experience by offering our patients quality products and unique services that are designed to simplify medication regimens. Our friendly and knowledgeable staff are always available to answer questions and to help navigate through your treatment program.
Meet Our Devoted Pharmacist,
John Mark Rolling, Pharm D
John Mark Rolling is the Pharmacist in Charge here at HealthLOGIC Pharmacy. John Mark earned his undergraduate degree at Southeastern Louisiana University in Hammond, Louisiana. In 2010 he received a Doctorate of Pharmacy from Samford University’s McWhorter School of Pharmacy in Birmingham, Alabama. John Mark returned to Louisiana to begin his career, where he worked first as staff pharmacist and then as Pharmacist in Charge at several Louisiana community pharmacies. John Mark has been instrumental in the development and growth of HealthLOGIC Pharmacy and its staff. His knowledge and dedication is valued by our team and our patients alike. He resides here in Baton Rouge, where he keeps busy with his wife Rachael and their three young daughters.
Meet Val Generes, Co-Owner of HealthLOGIC Pharmacy
Val GeneresMeet Val Generes, Co-Owner of HealthLOGIC Pharmacy, co-owner of HealthLOGIC Pharmacy, started his career working at Accenture (formerly Andersen Consulting) and continued providing IT solutions for various entities to primarily Fortune 1000 companies for 15 years. He then owned and operated a series of regional, independent healthcare consulting companies focusing on pharmacy operations and data management. Val is now co-owner of HealthLOGIC Pharmacy, HealthLOGIC Pharmacy NOLA, and HealthLOGIC Family Pharmacy. He lives in Baton Rouge with his wife and two children, enjoys playing tennis, spending time at the hunting camp, and is a passionate LSU Tiger fan.
Meet Jourdan Generes, Co-Owner of HealthLOGIC Pharmacy
Jourdan Generes, co-owner of HealthLOGIC Pharmacy and brother to Val, got his start working for a large health insurance company where he consulted with Medicare patients and helped them to navigate the changing landscape of insurance. He later moved onto pharmaceutical and medical device sales where he was consistently a top performer, winning multiple President’s Club awards. Due to his success, he became a corporate training consultant and then developed a series of regional, independent healthcare distributorships before founding HealthLOGIC Pharmacy with his partners. Jourdan brings his accomplishments and expertise of the pharmaceutical sales field to the team, making him a great asset. He lives in New Orleans with his wife and four children and loves coaching his kids and bringing them to LSU tailgating and football games.
Meet Matt Skellan, Co-Owner of HealthLOGIC Pharmacy
Matt Skellan, co-owner of HealthLOGIC Pharmacy, began his medical sales career in 2009 working for a large bracing manufacturer as a top sales representative and distributor. During that time, he was introduced to the specialty and mail order pharmaceutical space and has remained actively involved in that arena since 2011. Matt served as Senior Vice President of Sales for a national healthcare distribution company where he managed a sales force with revenues exceeding $100M before collaborating with Val and Jourdan to create HealthLOGIC. His knowledge and experience in the medical and pharmaceutical fields have been very beneficial to the team. Matt resides in Columbus, OH with his wife and three children.
